Eben Davis Carpal Tunnel Treatment San Francisco
Eben Davis a San Francisco Chiropractor patient review and success story. Anne was told she needed carpal tunnel syndrome release surgery in both hands. She had been diagnosed with CTS that was not responsive to cortisone injections, anti-inflammatory medication, physical therapy or acupuncture. Anne's husband is an attorney across the street from Front Street Chiropractic in the SF Financial District. One day his secretary got a hold of a flyer at her gym promoting Dr. Eben Davis' weekly carpal tunnel syndrome workshop at his Front Street Chiropractic Clinic. At the time (2001) Dr. Davis and his clinic were known around the world for their non-surgical treatment for carpal tunnel and related disorders. Dr. Davis was treating many local CTS victims from companies such as PG&E, SF Unified School District, Bain & Co., and Charles Schwab. DR. Davis was also travelling the country teaching other chiropractors his methods which involved cervical curve restoration and extremity adjustments to the shoulder, elbow, wrist and fingers. After only 2 sessions Anne was pain free in one hand. Several months later she was completely free of her carpal tunnel symptoms and life was back to normal. Often times there are pinched nerves in the neck effecting the nerves that control the hand. This can lead to CTS and related problems. Dr. Davis was ahead of his time and it is now common knowledge that the neck is the cause of many carpal tunnel, hand, and wrist pain disorders. Dr. Davis moved across the street in 2008 and re-opened as Executive Express Chiropractic at the Embarcadero Center. To schedule an appointment for carpal tunnel syndrome treatment or examination, please call 415-392-2225.

    His angle is incorrect. It should be at 30%. He's also using tool number 3 in the Graston set, but he should be using number 2. It's curved slightly to accommodate the forearm. Graston tools are divided into single bevel or double bevel. I'm a Graston technique provider out of the Midwest.

    Thank you for the video. My husband has been bugging me for months to find out if he is sleeping on his Tempur-Pedic Neck Pillow correctly. Now I see he has his shoulders backward. This information has really helped him and now he not only has no neck pain but his headaches are gone, he does not snore, and he no longer rolls over in the night (usually punching me in the process). Thanks again! Now I can sleep through the night as well.

    @kenny mills is wrong, sleeping on your back is actually the worst position. For one it puts more strain on your spine, but the more concerning part is that your blood pressure increases due to the position of the heart in your chest, it has to pump harder as a result. Side sleeping is best for your neck and spine, which is why most people sleep on their side most of the night. However, a good range of positions can be used initially before falling asleep. If you have memory foam mattress or pad you can start on your back for 10 minutes, if it hurts toou much try bringing your knees up. Then sleep on your chest in falcon position, feels nice as it's also the best position for your heart, easiest to pump. If you're ever getting chest pain or anxiety, lay on your stomach for a while, your chest will feel warm and soothed, and since it's easier for heart to pump in this position, your blood pressure will decrease. Finally you can let your body decide naturally what position it wants after that, but most choose side.

    • @johndoe-uv6ji

      Ryan James he didn't say on yourback was the worst position he said the side position was the best

    What about a pillow to support that forearm on the end of the arm you're sleeping on? I use a steep wedge for my arm and a supportive flat wedge for my knees. My cervical pillow rests on top of a folded "riser" towel to get it at the right height. My bed looks more like a nest than a bed.

  • @theregistermee
    @theregistermee 10 років тому

    but I'll cut off my blood circulation in my arm if I sleep sideways.

  • @krawn7146
    @krawn7146 11 років тому

    Said sleeping on your side was the best? That's incorrect. Sleeping on your back with your head raised slightly and feet raised a lot puts you in a "zero gravity" position and your weight is evenly distributed

    To jump into a commercial as to what brand to buy seems premature. I found other experts describe that each individual needs to customize his or her pillow to the particulars of his/her physiology. This would mean build, shoulder and neck mass, etc. That important factors to consider is alignment in a relaxed position of neck to shoulder and also angle of the head to shoulder when resting on the pillow, etc., one video stated that one has to custom build a pillow to fit his measurement.
